Education & School Development Consulting

From the first feasibility question to a fully staffed, well-governed school — practical advice for proprietors, investors and boards.

Why it matters

A school is an institution, a business and a promise to parents

Many schools struggle not because of the vision but because of the foundations: the wrong location or fee level, unclear governance, weak staff policies or no systems to measure performance. These problems are cheaper to prevent than to fix.

Eden brings together its recruitment, HR and organisational development experience to help schools get the foundations right, then build the team and the systems that sustain quality.

From our work

From 250 pupils towards 1,000 students

Beginning around 2011, Eden supported an Abuja-based school that had about 250 pupils and faced significant operational challenges. Our work went beyond recruitment to institutional rebranding, strategic repositioning, governance development, workforce planning, management restructuring and organisational development.

As the school expanded, Eden supported recruitment for more than 100 positions during a major growth phase. The institution has since grown towards 1,000 students, some staff recruited through Eden have served for more than a decade, and the relationship remains active today.

The school is not named to protect client confidentiality.

How we engage

Ten stages, from first conversation to follow-up

Travel and mobilisation for assignments outside Abuja are agreed in writing before work begins and shown separately on your proposal.

  1. 01

    Initial consultation

A conversation about your vision, stage, location and timeline. No charge.

  2. 02

    Preliminary needs assessment

We establish what the school actually needs, which may differ from the original request.

  3. 03

    Site assessment

Where the assignment requires it, a visit to the site or the operating school.

  4. 04

    Findings and recommendations

What we found, what we recommend, and what we advise against.

  5. 05

    Proposal

Written scope, deliverables, team, timeline and fees, including any travel and mobilisation.

  6. 06

    Review and agreement

We go through the proposal with you and adjust the scope before anything is signed.

  7. 07

    Contract and mobilisation

Agreement signed, team assigned, start date and reporting lines confirmed.

  8. 08

    Implementation

The work is carried out with your staff, not handed down to them.

  9. 09

    Monitoring and reporting

Agreed review points and written progress reports to the proprietor or board.

  10. 10

    Completion and follow-up

Handover of reports, policies and systems, with the contracted follow-up period.
